Agreement and application
By downloading or using the Tugende Mobility application, users agree to the applicable licence and service terms. Tugende Mobility, rather than Apple or Google, is responsible for the application and its content.
Scope of licence
Users receive a non-transferable, non-exclusive and non-sublicensable licence to install and use the application on devices they own or control, subject to app store rules. The application may not be sold, rented, redistributed, reverse engineered or modified without permission.
Technical requirements
Users are responsible for confirming their device supports the application. Tugende may update the application and technical specifications over time.
Maintenance and support
Tugende Mobility is responsible for maintenance and support of the licensed application. Apple and Google have no obligation to provide support for Tugende services.
Use of data
Application and personal information is handled according to Tugende Mobility's Privacy Policy.
User contributions
Content submitted through platform features must be lawful, accurate, appropriately authorised and must not infringe intellectual property, privacy or other rights.
Liability and warranty
Liability is limited to the extent permitted by applicable law. Tugende aims to provide an application free from harmful software and functioning as described, subject to device, network, unauthorised modification and other external factors.
Termination
The licence remains valid until terminated by the user or Tugende. Rights may end automatically if the terms are not followed, after which use of the application must stop.
Applicable law
The official legacy terms state that the licence agreement is governed by the laws of Kenya. Users should contact Tugende for current jurisdictional guidance applicable to Rwanda services.
